Yamaha Announces the Ultimate Ranch Hand Sweepstakes

Winner Will Receive a New 2016 Viking VI Ranch Edition

Kennesaw, Ga. – January 27, 2016 – Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, the industry leading manufacturer of ATV and Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicles for ranchers and farmers, announces the Ultimate Ranch Hand Sweepstakes. The winner will receive a new 2016 Viking VI Ranch Edition SxS with Electric Power Steering (EPS). Entries are now being accepted at www.yamahaoutdoors.com/ranchhand.

The 2016 Viking VI Ranch Edition brings an all-new level of comfort and convenience to tough, off-road ranch work and farm chores. With a 600-pound cargo bed rating, 1,500 pound towing capacity, seating for six full-size occupants and plenty of space for hauling feed, tools and equipment, it’s the ultimate ranch hand on four wheels.

“We created this sweepstakes to show our continued support and appreciation for ranchers, farmers and everyone who works in U.S. agriculture,” said Steve Nessl, marketing manager for Yamaha’s ATV/SxS group. “We know they’re typically working seven days a week and expect a SxS vehicle to be as hardworking and reliable as they are. The Viking VI Ranch Edition accomplishes this and combines Yamaha’s rugged durability with high-end styling and features to match.”

Highlights of the Viking VI Ranch Edition SxS include high-quality copper metallic painted bodywork, color-matched interior and sun top, and silver cast aluminum wheels. Also included is a center-mounted rearview mirror, mud flaps, overfenders, a heavy duty front brush guard and unique Ranch Edition badging. Total approximate retail value of the vehicle is $15,499. Like all of Yamaha’s SxSs and full-size ATVs, the Viking VI Ranch Edition is assembled in the USA at Yamaha’s factory in Newnan, Georgia for worldwide distribution.

Yamaha has a long-term commitment to supporting U.S. agriculture, farmers, farm families and communities by producing reliable, durable equipment, as well as promoting safe, responsible use of ATV and SxS vehicles. Through its long-lasting partnerships with Future Farmers of America (FFA) and National Ag Communicators of Tomorrow (ACT), Yamaha is proud to support youth developmental programs for the next generation of farmers and industry professionals.

The Viking VI Ranch Edition is equipped with Yamaha’s powerful and proven 700cc-class engine, three-way On-Command® system with 2WD, 4WD and 4WD full-differential lock engaged via an automotive-style rotating dial, and the industry’s most durable and reliable Ultramatic® transmission with high, low and reverse, providing the most natural feeling all-wheel engine braking. The Viking VI Ranch Edition also utilizes Yamaha’s Electric Power Steering (EPS) system. For more information, visit www.yamahaoutdoors.com.
